THE WATER IS WARM!
Mid September sea is suprisingly warm. In 2014 we stayed in the water for almost an hour! We have secured a section of the beach for the event. It's public access so they can't close it. September is out of season so there are not many people about. Last year the response from those few people walking the coast was warm, big hearted and supportive!
COACH
The Beach is 1h 45min journey from London. If your traveling with us on the coach we leave Stratford Train Station at 10:00am. There will be someone wearing a 'This Is Me' high vis vest to sign you on to the coach.
We have booked a 28 seater coach. Once this is full we will look at booking another one if there are enough people.
CAR & CAR SHARING
There is plenty of parking at the beach. When you register we will send you the details of where to go. Its about a 1h45min drive from London.
Car sharing - When you register please indicate if your happy to offer lifts and if so where you're travelling form.
PICNIC
Bring a Picnic! If the weather is good we will stay after the dip to eat, drink and make merry.
WEATHER
If it's a little wet we will still go ahead with the event. The Lifeguards will let us know if the sea is safe for us to go in. If raining after the event we will head back to Margate and a warm pub to to have a celebratory pint!
COST
£5 registration only
£25 registration + coach
We arn't making money out of you getting your kit off. We are a not for profit organisation.
At it's heart this is an event about bringing woman together and creating an empowering experience.
The Art we are creating from the event captures this but isn't the reason we are holding the event. It's really about participating in something extrodiary and experiencing something ibeautiful and connecting.
To make sure we look after everyone and everyone is safe we are putting a few things in place. The small registration fee is to help us out with these costs and we thank you in advance for this.

THE BEACH
This beautiful beach is on the north-eastern tip of Kent. It offers a long sandy beach with low cliffs, sand dunes and excellent clean waters. The area long used by naturists is to the north of the main beach. It involves a short walk and tends to be fairly quiet.
The only facilities are: toilets on the access to the main beach; a kiosk selling light refreshments on the main beach; and a Thorley Taverns pub and restaurant on the clifftop about 150 yards from the beach access slipways.
